In true Sunday fashion we'd love to highlight another Small Business! Today we are going to be talking to the gifted Christa Hood about her small business. Lets get to learnin'!

What is your Business? Professional Photography Business - Hidden Perfections Photography.

Where are you Located? Waycross, Georgia.

Why did you go into this business? I’ve always loved capturing the moment. Even as a child I have pictures I did with old disposable point and shoot cameras.

How long have you been in business? I really got interested when I was in high school and started photographing a lot of my friends senior year. I Professionally started about 9 years ago.

The greatest accomplishment for your business? My greatest accomplishment so far is getting a studio.

What do you love about your job? It’s always been my passion to capture moments you can’t ever get back. Literally freezing time for a family is the best. Sometimes a picture can mean the world if that’s all you have left.

What do you like to do in your free time? I like to spend time with my family. Most the time I have a camera with me then too because I love to capture the moment with the boys. I know they’ll look back one day and appreciate these pictures.

From Christa: "I’m super thankful for this journey of photography. I’m thankful for my sweet husband who bought me my first camera when we were dating and has been my biggest fan since day one. I’m so blessed to be able to photograph such big moments in families' lives. Surprise proposals, weddings, baby deliveries, maternity, seniors, newborns you name it I will photograph it."

Christa, thank you for sharing your talents and passion with us for our Small Business Spotlight. We wish you all of the luck in the upcoming Holiday Season - knowing how that can bring on lots of business for the Holiday photos!
